-jam- killing time
I have 5 hours of break today.
What should I do? Do I go out? Do I just hang around lazing away? Or should I go back and sleep? While all of the above seem so tempting, I decided to blog. To finish up a little work and then maybe take a little breather before my next lecture.
Many of us complain of the lack of time and motivation. When we are pressed with so much at hand, we b*tch about how little time we have. And when we have all the time in the world, we just seem to laze all the days away. Pretty ironic huh?
Well, do not be afraid. You’re not alone! I have to admit that even I fall into that trap… sometimes. If you’re interested to find out how you can get your ass off the floor and jump back into action again within minutes, read on. If not, you could always close this window and return to being a couch potato.
One very effective technique I found is to write a list of positive, empowering and motivating feelings on a piece of blank paper. So whenever you’re feeling down and out, take the piece of paper out, and shout out each and every word till you mean it! For instance, your list could include the following words.
‘I am motivated! I am energized! I am powerful! I am happy! I am etc etc…’
The whole exercise should take no more than 10 minutes and I guarantee you’ll be on your way to feeling great, happy, and achieving wonders!
Find out more in my next blog why the above activity will work!
Cheers.
