-jam- fake it till you make it

In my previous blog, I gave you a powerful activity on how to instantly feel motivated to achieve what you want in life. Today, I’m going to explain how and why it works!

Let’s do a little test here before I begin.

I need you to smile as if you were the happiest man in the world! Smile as if you just struck the $1m lottery! Now, maintaining that same facial expression, that same posture, I want you to feel angry. (When you look at yourself in a mirror, you should be seeing yourself smiling widely, and trying to get angry.) Quick, do this exercise now.

Did you manage to get angry? Chances are, you couldn’t. Interesting isnt it? How a small thing like your smile and your posture prevented you from getting angry?

Now, if you take this result and apply it to feeling motivated, what do you think will happen? Yes! You will definitely be able to control your state and feel motivated most of the time!

When I asked you to shout out those words of motivation, you are engaging in 2 things.
1) You are raising your adrenaline level.
2) You are encouraging yourself and kicking yourself in the butt!
